Part of our business philosophy is our respect for the environment. In the course of automotive maintenance and repair, we try to be respectful of the environment at all times and incorporate this into our handling of waste and recyclable materials.

Oil

All used oil at Environmental Automotive is collected and stored for pick up by a certified oil recycling company. In the course of working on vehicles, every effort is made to prevent the spillage of oil as well.

Tires

All used and defective tires at Environmental Automotive are stored for pick up by a certified tire recycling company.

Air Conditioning Refrigerant

Freon and R134 are recycled by our certified mechanics and equipment specially made for this task. Our team must undergo training in the use and disposal of these chemicals to to ensure the proper collection of these substances and to prevent unnecessary leaks.

Engine Parts

All scrap metal and engine parts at Environmental Automotive are picked up by a company which either refurbishes the components for reuse or scraps the materials for recycling.

Antifreeze

All used antifreeze collected at Environmental Automotive is given to an authorized antifreeze company for recycling.

Cardboard & Paper Products

All cardboard cartons and used paper products are given to an authorized recycling company.
